My wife and I went on a private tour with Jia and couldn't be more happy! Jia went with our flow and took us around to traditional markets where we were literally the only tourists. We gave her a list of Korean foods we've already tried and she opted to bring us to various restaurants to try new dishes (all of them we're delicious!!).

On top of that, she accommodated my random requests every step of the way to try more adventurous foods such as pork intestine jap chae and even fried chicken feet.

Had a fabulous time in Jia’s cooking class. Always great to try to cook new food. Jia’s English is excellent so no problem there and her Kitchen School is in a really lovely area with lots of light. I actually felt really relaxed while cooking the two new recipes. What’s more they were really delicious to eat once we’d finished. It was also great to chat with other travellers whilst eating. My wife and I took a class to learn to make bulgogi and kimchi, the instructor was fantastic and we had a lot of focused attention while learning to prepare our dishes and then actually doing the same.  We went during an off peak time and managed to get our own class.  At the end we had our lunch there (bulgogi, kimchi, and kimchi pancake) which was great.  I understand why people have their own kimchi fridge as we took ours to the hotel to rest overnight and when we opened the door the aroma flooded our room!

The food tour from Ongo food was the highlight of our trip to Seoul. We started with making the korean pancake which my kid loved! Jay was friendly and very helpful. We had two kids along with us and she and the other guest would wait for us. She even played with them! We walked along the small alleyways in Insadong tasting delicious street foods and sweets! This tour is highly recommended.
